Former Manchester United and Real Madrid Forward Cristiano Ronaldo said, The rivalry between him and Messi is over and ends in good way.
The Portuguese Captain said this on prematch conference ahead of EURO 2024 Qualifier Match against Slovakia.
“The rivalry was good and the spectators liked it!” Ronaldo said.
Cristiano Ronaldo also said: “If you love Cristiano, you don’t have to hate Messi and vice versa. We have changed football history. Both are doing things well in a new league.”
“Rivalry? I don’t see things, we’ve shared the stage for 15 years, I’m not saying we’re friends, but we respect each other.”
The Portuguese Star, Cristiano Ronaldo and World Cup Winner, Leo Messi shared the Balon D’or podium for over 15years which both have 12 in total.
Ronaldo was nominated for Balon D’or 18times and Messi was nominated 16times, also Messi holds the Most Decorated player in Football history with 43 trophies for club and country.
