The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahemd Akanbi Tinubu has succeeded in the presidential election in Ondo State.

Prof. Abayomi Fashina, the vice chancellor of Federal University, Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State announced the presidential election result in Ondo State, today at the INEC office.

The professor said that APC polled the most votes with 369,924, clearing all 18 local government areas in the state.

However, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, came second with 115,463 votes, and the Labour Party, LP, was in the third position with 47,350 votes. Also, the African Democratic Party, ADP, got 5,612 votes.

Prof. Fashina announced that 571,402 were accredited, 570,017 votes were cast, and 19,009 votes were rejected.
