Tinubu, Shettima Meets APC Governors At The Presidential Villa

 

In the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa in Abuja, President Bola Tinubu is currently having a meeting with members of the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF).

The President is meeting with the governors of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for the first time since his inauguration. He was joined by Vice President Kashim Shettima.

Governors from Imo, Gome, Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos, Hope Uzodinma of Imo, Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa, Umar Namadi of Jigawa, Inuwa Yahaya of Gome, Yahaya Bello of Kogi, Professor Babagana Zulum of Borno, and Mai Mala Buni of Yobe are among those present at the meeting.

Others include Father Hyacinth Alia of Benue, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara, Dapo Abiodun of Ogun, Umar Bago of Niger, Aliyu Ahmed of Sokoto, Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi, and Uba Sani of Kaduna.

Tinubu hosts a first-ever security meeting with the CDS, military chiefs, and IGP.

Tijjani Umar, the permanent secretary of the White House, and Nuhu Ribadu, the previous chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), are also there.
