Tolanibaj Bows Out of Big Brother Naija All Stars
The DJ and actress, Tolani “Tolanibaj” Shobajo, has become the latest housemate to be evicted from the Big Brother Naija All Stars reality show. She was nominated for eviction by her fellow housemates along with Ilebaye, Kim Oprah and Prince Nelson. She received the least number of votes from the viewers and had to leave the house on Sunday, August 27.
Tolanibaj, who was a contestant in the Lockdown edition of the show in 2020, returned to the All Stars edition as a fan favourite. She was known for her outspokenness, confidence and fashion sense. She also had a romantic relationship with Prince Nelson, who was also her partner in the Lockdown season.
During her stay in the All Stars house, Tolanibaj had some clashes with Ilebaye, whom she accused of being disrespectful and rude to her. She also had a heated argument with Venita over Prince Nelson, whom Venita claimed to have a crush on. Tolanibaj did not hide her displeasure and told Venita to back off.
Tolanibaj’s eviction came as a shock to many of her fans and supporters, who took to social media to express their sadness and disappointment. Some of them blamed her fellow housemates for nominating her unfairly, while others blamed the voting system for being biased.
Tolanibaj’s exit leaves 18 housemates in the race for the grand prize of ₦120 million. The show, which is hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, airs on DStv channel 198 and GOtv channel 29.
