Recall the two met in November with Adesanya searching to hold his spot atop the middleweight and pound-for-pound rankings.

But Pereira had other ideas for his former kickboxing rival.

Despite performing to be down heading into the last round of the fight, Pereira unleashed huge hooks that rocked Adesanya earlier than the referee known as off the motion for the late TKO to crown a new champion.
