The management of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has viewed with grave concern last weekend’s story about one of its students, Moyosore Bright from Zoology department.
This was made known in a statement issued and signed by Mr Kunle Akogun, Director Of Corporate Affairs.
The statement says “It is important to state that the said student is hale and hearty, and her purported abduction was a ruse and figment of the imagination of the rumour mongers.”
The management further assures the public that its campus is safe for learning, research, and community service in pursuit of its tripartite mandate.
Earlier reports says Moyosore Bright, a student at the University of Ilorin’s Zoology Department, was kidnapped on Friday at around 2:00 pm and found consciousness in a jungle a few miles outside the city at around 7:00 pm.
