Napoli and Super Eagles Super Star, Victor Osimhen won “the 2022 Best Foreign Athele” in Italy today.
Osimhen was presented with the award by the Foreign Press in Italy after an amazing year in 2022.
He has been invincible in front of goal for Napoli since the beginning of last year.
Osimhen finished the 2021/2022 season with 18 goals and five assists in 32 games, including 14 in 27 league games.
Seven of Osimhen’s 14 league goals last season came in the second half of last season. The Nigeria international has continued in the same vein this season with 19 league goals in 21 games and two goals in four Champions League matches.
Osimhen scored ten goals in the first half of the 2022/2023 season, including nine in Italy’s top flight despite missing a month of action.
The Nigeria international’s exceptional display has now been recognized by the foreign press in Italy, naming him the best foreign athlete in the country in 2022.
