Why I Don’t Like Kissing In Movies – Laide Bakare
Laide Bakare, a famous actress, has revealed that she struggles with kissing scenes on set.
In a chat with Saturday Beats, she explained, “It is not easy to act romantic roles, especially when they involve kissing and touching. I have to be authentic and professional at the same time. I also have to respect my own comfort level and the script’s demands. These roles need a lot of finesse to make them believable and respectful.”
Bakare also lamented that people tend to focus more on her career as an actress, rather than her true self.
She said, “As someone who is both an actress and a filmmaker, my main challenge is finding real love and building relationships. Sometimes, people are drawn to my fame and my work, rather than who I really am. It is hard to tell who is sincere and who is not.”
