The 27-year-old singer’s demise on September 12, 2023, has ignited a firestorm of protests and public outcry, with the circumstances of his death shrouded in controversy. Despite a thorough coroner’s inquest, the advanced decomposition of the body rendered the autopsy inconclusive, leaving a gaping hole in the quest for truth.
In a heartfelt statement, Larry Omodia, CEO of African Television and the African Foundation for Justice, voiced his frustration over the lack of closure. “We need answers, and we need them now,” he implored.

The announcement came on the heels of a session at the Ikorodu High Court, where key witnesses, including Primeboy, a close associate of the late singer, and the medical examiner, were thoroughly questioned. The pathologist confirmed that the state of decay made it impossible to pinpoint the cause of death.
