NPFL Bans Teams from Live Streaming Matches

the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) has taken a decisive step by banning teams from independently live streaming their matches.

Instead, the NPFL has confirmed an exclusive broadcast sponsorship deal with GTI Asset Management & Trust Limited, the accredited broadcast sponsor of the league.

The announcement came during a press briefing conducted by GTI Asset Management & Trust Limited in which they also revealed an increase in the prize money for the winner of the upcoming 2023-24 season.

However, the victorious team will now be awarded a substantial cash prize of N150 million, promising an exciting incentive for all participants.

As the NPFL gears up for the commencement of the new season, the newly appointed board has been actively working on finalizing all necessary arrangements. These efforts aim to ensure a seamless and successful start when the league kicks off on August 26.

With this exclusive broadcast sponsorship deal, football enthusiasts and fans can look forward to an enhanced viewing experience, while teams will continue to strive for excellence in their pursuit of the coveted NPFL title.

Overall, the move reflects the league’s commitment to delivering a more streamlined and comprehensive football spectacle, fostering greater engagement and enjoyment for fans across the nation.
