Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Oyebanji has appointed atleast eight Special Advisers.

This was announced in a statement released by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Yinka Oyebode, in Ado-Ekiti.

He said the development was made to enable solid foundation for the new government same move the state forward.

He also said that the new appointees were of cabinet rank.

The names of new Special Advisers, according to Oyebode are Mrs Tayo Adeola (Investment, Trade and industry), Mr Niyi Adebayo, (Budget, Economic Planning and Performance Management).

Others are Dr Kofoworola Aderiye ( Education, Science and Technology) and Ebenezer Boluwade (Agriculture and Food Security).

Mr Tope Ogunleye (Bureau of Special Project), Chief Jide Awe (Political and Inter Party Affairs), Mr Yinka Oyebode (Media and Strategy/ Chief Press Secretary) and Mr Seun Fakuade (Governance, Reforms and Innovation).

Oyebode added that the governor implored the appointees to make use of the opportunity to invest their talent, time and expertise to the overall development of the state.

He further said that they would be inaugurated on Friday.

Oyebode also said that Gen Ebenezer Ogundana had been retained as Security Adviser to the Governor, immediately.
